NB: I tried to find the source of these stories or even the picture without much luck. I assume it has come from a writing competition somewhere, so if you know, please tell us because there are some genuinely good writers on this list we should be having names for.

I’ve always loved dreams in which I’m flying. Alas, now that I’m close enough to make out the blobs of bubblegum on the asphalt, I’m beginning to suspect that this is not a dream.
