I prefer a Bang energy drink and a machete. I’m good for whatever life throws at me with those 2 items 😉

Except for a hurricane. Neither of those are much help in a hurricane 🙂

It might help dull the pain of the machete whirling around in the wind and gutting me.
Way to look on the bright side!

I’ve generally found that a machete makes work colleagues nervous, especially if you are practicing your nine angles.

Thank goodness my coworker EXPECTS me to have my machete. I love my work some days 🙂

So you’re the caretaker at Camp Crystal Lake then?

I’m guessing your surveying is less theodolite and more GPS?

Total station. Too hilly and wooded for gps to work on home owner lots. Only the town and state crews, and the one or two big survey companies in the state, regularly use gps for location. Unless they concentrate exclusively in the city.
Then they’re carrying the machete for a different reason 😀

Cool.
And I know what you mean about the different reason. A few of my colleagues have to do property visits and have been shot at before (sorry, can’t go into details).

Never actually been shot at, but have had guns pulled out and waved around. We immediately left and we called the cops. When we went back, we had a cop escort.
People get kind of up in arms, ha, about their property 😀
